it seems like forever ago in the future now and before.
i’ve been on tour with my band cymbals eat guitars for the past 4 weeks or so opening up for the most excellent Cursive. while on tour, the opening band Conduits have taken control of one of my fuck overdrives and have been using it! they may be getting another as well… ;-)
tour has been really great, but as always it will be nice to be home building. i’ll be back in action in just over 2 weeks and will have some new tshirts, new stickers and new pedals available not much later… stay tuned!
there are 4 slightly blemished super puzzles available at fuzzhugger.com. they needed some extra spraying around the edges so the clearcoat is slightly raised where it received some extra love. get them while they’re cheap!
on advice from tom of fuzzhugger.com, i did a run of fuck overdrives reminiscent of the older team awesome fuzzmachines (stamps, simple colors, etc). they’re all silver sparkle-y and very shiny in real life! 4 out of 10 are shown here to give an idea of what they’re all about… party time!
a few months back i got this picture of an etched TAFM from spencer doren of 3leafaudio, builder of some very fine bass-centric effects pedals. apparently, he really loves the TAFM !! (possibly his favorite bass fuzz? wink wink) and decided to experiment with etching a silk-screened version he owned.
absolutely beautiful results…
