it blows my mind that it has already been a year since the last trenton ave arts fest and kinetic sculpture derby, but time sure does fly… i’ll have a little booth there for philadelphia folks to try out pedals via headphones with guitar/keyboard and will have some cheap(!) pedals for sale as well that are not part of my standard line – most likely some simple boosts. if you’re in the area, come out to hang and nerd out with me!

happy friday! smallsound/bigsound pedals can now be found in the UK at Joe’s Pedals! i’m proud to be included in the roster of excellent manufacturers that he represents… after all, how can you resist the ever-present smile in his logo? from his about page:
“Joe’s Pedals has come about as a result of my personal passion for the humble stompbox. Having played in bands, toured continents and spent 13 years building the pedal business at Vintage and Rare Guitars in London, I have been able to immerse myself into sampling as many different brands, models and types as possible. I have built up a good knowledge base of what works well in different situations, with different rigs and down to personal preferences.
I have helped and advised pro musicians, aspiring players, those on the quest of tone, partners wanting that perfect present and anyone who is looking for a quality pedal to suit their needs.”
also, joe made this really cool logo for me by just taking a piece from the left-side of my site… i never even thought about it! amazing all around.

Circuits to Cure Cancer is a group of guitar pedal builders, retailers, reviewers, and musicians who have donated either their products or their time to help raise money for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
From April 18th through April 28th over 30 guitar pedals will be auctioned off on eBay, with 100% of the proceeds going to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. You know you want to purchase guitar pedals, so why not help children in need at the same time?
smallsound/bigsound will be donating a custom color mini to the cause!

i am very pleased to announce that smallsound/bigsound will now be exclusively represented in canada by Search and Distro Music Eqiupment! they have quite a roster of retailers they distribute to, so if you have a local store on the list that you want to carry smallsound/bigsound, just let them know! geographically closer pedals = less money spent on shipping and more spent on pedlolz!
so far, smallsound/bigsound will be available at Axe… and you Shall Receive, run by an excellent old-school rocker named Scott who you can read more about through the link to his site – he’s got a great story!
i’ll also have some neat new finishes and custom colors available in the next few weeks so stay tuned…
here’s a lazercat, because every new dealer day deserves one.
